TARK is preparing to release its first published game, BOMBANANA!, on Steam on 2 September 2026. The launch marks an important new chapter for the independent publisher as it moves from building its portfolio to bringing its first title to players.
Developed by Türkiye-based Lefto Studio, BOMBANANA! is an asymmetric online co-op puzzle game for exactly three players. Each player takes the role of a monkey with a different limitation: one cannot see, one cannot hear and one cannot speak. Because every player receives only part of the information needed to defuse the bomb, success depends on communication, teamwork and the ability to remain calm while everything goes wrong.
Ahead of release, BOMBANANA! has surpassed one million Steam wishlists and reached more than six million demo players. The response has helped establish the game as one of the most anticipated independent co-op releases of 2026.
BOMBANANA! is the first release in a growing portfolio of games backed and published by TARK. The company currently supports development teams from Türkiye, Spain and France, bringing together projects with distinct identities, strong mechanics and long-term replayability.
Mad Ever After, developed by Türkiye-based Fubu Games, is a chaotic one-to-four-player co-op roguelike FPS set in corrupted fairytale worlds. Players travel through twisted versions of familiar stories, wield shapeshifting magical staffs, combine spells and upgrades, and confront bizarre creatures and transformed storybook characters. The game is currently scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Terrible Life Expectancy, developed by Spain-based Super Mega Team, is a roguelite top-down shooter with Survivors elements and an unusual family-based progression system. When a character dies, another member of the family inherits their equipment and continues the fight. If the entire bloodline is lost, however, the show comes to an end and much of the family’s progress disappears with it.
KORRIDOR, developed by France-based TinyToad, combines the familiar structure of gates shooters with roguelike and survivor-style systems. Players collect runes and items, create increasingly powerful builds, battle hordes of demons and take on bosses while progressing through medieval catacombs accompanied by an original electro-metal soundtrack.
“Releasing BOMBANANA! is an important milestone for TARK, but it is also the beginning of a much larger journey. We are building a publisher that gives independent developers the funding, practical support and long-term commitment they need without taking creative control away from them. Every game in our portfolio has its own identity, and our role is to help that identity reach the right players.”
Alongside its four publicly announced games, TARK is preparing to reveal several additional projects. Upcoming titles awaiting full announcements include Monster Cuisine, One Must Rule, Fisher King, Intercept Course and Indie Game Company. Their developers, platforms, release windows and further details will be shared in future announcements.
TARK supports independent PC and console games from early funding through development, launch and continued post-release growth. Its work includes production support, specialist resourcing, marketing, localization, quality assurance, platform relations, community development and long-term discoverability. The company’s approach is built around protecting the creative direction of its development partners while providing the practical publishing support required to bring ambitious independent games to market.
BOMBANANA! will be released for PC through Steam on 2 September 2026. More information about TARK and its portfolio is available at tarkgames.com.
